- American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.)
At the Geary Theater and The Strand
A San Francisco institution, A.C.T. is an internationally renowned nonprofit theater company that has been breaking ground in theatrical productions and training since 1965. The recipient of a Tony Award for outstanding theater performance and training, it has also won the coveted Jujamcyn Theaters Award. This month, don’t miss:

- Theater Bay Area
Theater Bay Area (TBA) is a San Francisco-based nonprofit composed of more than 360 theater and dance companies in 12 counties. It’s considered one of the pillars of the San Francisco artistic community, providing members with access to financial, professional and educational resources. TBA’s member companies present a wide array of shows and productions every month across the region. This month’s highlights include:

Davies Symphony Hall
The SF Symphony is considered one of the best in the world and watching them perform is a treat for all music lovers. Since its founding in 1911, the symphony has become an important part of the San Francisco cultural scene. They continue to enthrall audiences with several performances each month, mostly at Davies Symphony Hall, their home at the San Francisco War Memorial. Mostly at War Memorial Opera House
The oldest ballet company in the United States is best known for its yearly production of the Nutcracker, which they first brought to the country in 1944. Throughout the year, the company presents a host of performances ranging from classic to contemporary, mostly at the War Memorial Opera House – the company’s home since 1932.
